Executive Diagnostic Conversation

Not every organisation needs the same engagement.

Begin with the decision you are trying to make.

The Executive Diagnostic Conversation is a focused discussion about the condition leadership is seeing, what remains unclear, the evidence already available, the teams involved, the commercial or organisational consequence and whether SI is the appropriate next step.

It is not a software demo or disguised sales presentation.

What the conversation may cover
Reporting and visibility gaps Competitor or market movement Customer-confidence concerns Commercial Intent and Demand Leakage Technical or AI exposure Repeated implementation blockers Executive ownership Diagnostic results and Assessment scope
What SI may show

Where useful, the conversation may include SEOLens evidence views, the Diagnostic, an Evidence Trail, an Executive Scoreboard, a Risk and Opportunity Register and illustrative governance artefacts.

These artefacts support the discussion. They are not the category proposition.

Appropriate outcomes

The discussion may conclude that the Diagnostic should be completed first, existing teams can address the issue, more information is needed, an Assessment is appropriate or SI is not the right fit.

Mutual qualification matters.

What to bring

No prepared presentation is needed, the decision or concern, the affected product or market, what changed, current reports and the teams involved is enough. The first conversation should not require sending sensitive data before scope and controls are agreed.

Questions SI may ask

Which loss would be most material if it continued? Which recommendation has repeated without a decision? What would need to improve for the engagement to create value? What would make this the wrong time to proceed? These questions clarify the condition, they do not manufacture urgency.

Commercial value and loss avoidance

The conversation should identify both sides of the opportunity.

Possible value

Stronger first-page presence, more qualified demand, improved Sales readiness and better competitive position.

Possible loss

Priority rankings eroding, demand captured elsewhere, reputation weakening and unresolved recommendations.

Neither side should be quantified without a defensible method.

From conversation to formal scope

The conversation is not the engagement. Where a formal next step is appropriate, SI provides a written proposal covering scope, evidence access, deliverables, fees, confidentiality and termination. No paid work begins until authorised parties accept it.

Confidentiality boundary, what the conversation is not

The first conversation should not require disclosing customer records or regulated information. It is not a disguised SEO sales call, a revenue forecast, or an attempt to manufacture fear.

Next step

The purpose is clarity, not pressure.

Tell us the decision you are trying to make. We use it to prepare, to bring the right evidence, and to say honestly whether SI is the appropriate next step.

Used to prepare for and respond to this request, and to keep a record of the communication. Do not include customer records, regulated information or confidential evidence — those are handled under a separate agreement. Requesting a conversation does not subscribe you to marketing.
